Why? Because at the time the A2 software was discontinued, A2 subscribers
made up a large portion of their membership

Seeing that the direction they have gone in (ie. web browser, etc) I would
agree with you.

I'm kind of glad that AOL has shunned Apple II people (a large part of their
membership at one point) because it has make Apple II users choose actual
internet providers, instead of using an AOL front end as a crutch.
