RGB & Sega

Some time ago I ran across a posting that explained the steps for
using the apple RGB monitor with the sega system.  I'm now using a
VGA monitor and second sight with the apple ][GS and would like to
hook up the RGB to my son's genesis system.  It would give better
resolution than a TV monitor.  Unfortunatly I did not capture the
post.  Are there any tech wizards out there with some capsules of
wisdom on this subject?  Any help would be appreciated!
