Olivier Zardini was kind enough to have Joe Kohn forward me a copy
of Convert 3200 for review. The full review will be appearing in the
next issue of The Apple Blossom, which will be coming out at the 
end of February. That review will test Convert 3200 on different GS
setups, and make notes about speed and different formats. (BTW, does
anyone know a good ftp site for Amiga IFF (ILBM) files?)

However, I think I can write a few lines in anticipation of that
full review.

There is no question in my mind that Convert 3200 is worth whatever
Yodels and Devil Dogs you'd be giving up to purchase it. It's definitely
worth more than $15.00.

Convert 3200 brings IBM BMP files within reach of the IIGS user...it
does a very good job with these files, which are easy to obtain online
and on CD-ROM. C3200 also does a very good job on 
GIF files and PCX files. Sure, there are other utlities that handle
those on the GS, but none as fast and none with the ease of scaling
the graphics in exact percentages.

That said, if you want the full review, you'll have to read it in 
the Apple Blossom. Full info is available on the Apple Blossom
Online Web site (http://members.aol.com/newblossom/). You can
download a subscription form ($12.00/year--there go those Devil
Dogs again--for 6 issues), plus read all of last year's 4 issues,
along with several other articles that didn't make it into print
and a very cool (if I do say so myself) list of Apple II vendors,
complete with email and web links (constantly, exhaustingly--did I
go to be last night? Hmmm?--updated).
