Writing Apple II disk images using DOS 5 1/4 floppy

I know this sounds like heresy, but is there any way to write Apple II
disk image files (*.dsk, *.do, etc.) to a 5 1/4" floppy in DOS? What I'd
like to do is use my DOS box to write all of those lovely images from
Asimov to real floppies so I can actually use them on my Apple //c. Why,
you ask, when we have so many lovely emulators to choose from? Because I
love the joystick that I have for my real Apple, and I'm willing to go to
the ends of the earth to keep using it.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help that anyone is able to give me.
