You'll have to disable DMA when you go beyond 4 Megs on the regular
CV Tech card...only the later and current 8Meg cards seem to be fully
DMA compatible...DMA is effective on ly for 1 Meg, 2Megs, and 4 Megs, but not
for
three Megs or for more than 4 Megs...with the Apple High Speed SCSI card, that
is,
don't know about th e RAMFast card...also, can't use 3Megs on the CV Tech
board and some other board piggy-backed with 1 Meg to get to four Megs...
the memory needs to be the same in order to use DMA.
