The Carte Blanche doesn't support GS video modes (yet) unless there's
been a seriously welcome development I'm unaware of.

There is nothing more compatible than a real GS. Some people just
prefer the real thing.

A few people have previously attempted to hack out a reasonable
portable IIGS with varied success that usually resulted in some kind
of compromise. The A2GS project seems to be an attempt to hurdle
previous compromises, and build the IIGS of yesterday, into the
portable of today.
