"Faint lines" + no other problems makes it sound like you are getting a
false horizontal trigger pulse. Maybe the 'sense' of one of the signals
from the IIgs is wrong for the Magnavox-- such as, the Magnavox expects a
positive-going sync pulse. (The Magnavox manual should list specs,
including expected input signals.)
