  I just picked up a couple of 128K ram cards for II+/IIe and can't remember
much about getting them going.  Does anyone know how to test them and how to
get them to work with such things as Apple works etc?

Are they Apple computer productgs? How do you know they have 128k?
How many contacts (goldfingers)? 25 or 30?
If they have 25 fingers, they would be good for //+ and //e.
If they have 30 g#fingers, the would be good for //e only.
