Could you please explain how adding a thicker wire will decrease noise on
the +5V and +12V lines? I received and installed my new power supply and
had the same results with my SS....it locks up the computer on boot-up and
puts garbage on the frozen screen.
Interestingly, (and something I forgot to mention previously) when I have
my SS installed and connected to my VGA monitor _AND_ my GS-RGB monitor
connected to my GS internal video port, I GET THE SAME GARBAGE ON BOTH
SCREENS!!! This indicates that something is fundamentally going wrong with
the video circuitry prior to the SS grabbing it and performing its magic.
Any ideas?
