But you have to recompile for one or the other. Suppose you were a customer
without the source code or the compiler? How easy is it then?

I consider this an interesting discussion from multiple view points, and

There is another strange thing about Internet. I saw a response to Ian's
post three days before I saw his post! Primenet's mail server has been
crappy lately (bad disks, etc.) but it almost seems to be handling mail
in a reverse time manner.
