Well, if you want to access the control panel, try command-ctrl-ESC instead.
(Command=open apple) The reset key is giving you just that, a reset.
You'll need localtalk connectors and 4-wire phone lines if you intend to put
other devices online, like printers and extra computers, but for just the two
computers an ImageWriter II to IIgs cable would work.
