Hi Lorin, thanks for taking the time to respond.
I set up a RAM disk with GSOS 5.0.4 and booted off of that. The boot was
successful and the three ProDOS partitions I have from an 85 M hard drive
came up as well as 3 ProDOS partitions and 4 HFS partitions from another
drive. However when I brought up a screen to print from Gif.View the system
crahed as before.
I then put Gif.View and JPEG PreRelease on the RAM disk along with some
gifs and jpegs [ I guess thats obvious :) ] shut down the two hard
drives and rebooted just the RAM.
I was then successful in printing out a gif but when I tried JPEG P.R.
the system crashed. My guess was that the jpeg program might not have
been compatible with 5.0.4.
I then installed GSOS 6.0.1 on a new RAM disk along with the aforementioned
shut down the hard drives and rebooted.
I printed out a gif first which was fine and then tried a jpeg and that
worked as well! However when I tried to get out of the jpeg program the
system crashed. I tried several times but I always crashed although I was
able to print the picture successfully before leaving the program.

So for what ever reason the FingerPrint GSi card does not like to be invoked
when I have my SCSI drives online.

Thanks again for the help.
