   I have a stock GS power supply. For a further data point, my GS
acted up again this week, so I tried to do as little as possible to
see when it would 'fix' itself. The GS was not powering up, so I
opened the case, and started wiggling the power cable to the
motherboard. Nothing. Also hit the power supply a few times to see if
that would help any lose connections. Nope. Loosened and put back the
power connector. Nope. Finally unplugged that power connector, and
plugged it back in. Success.

   Next time this happens, I'm gonna take a close look at the power
connector and the pins on the motherboard, and scrape off anything
that looks problematic.
