 I'm 99% sure that you need more than just a "neat" cable to convert from parallel
to serial. I believe it may take some hardware to do that job properly. I remember
seeing hardware like that in old Apple II magazines and it usually sold for like
$99 or so....way back in the 80's. :)
 If you do get it to work, please let me know how....I have a BJ-200e and an Apple IIc.
I'd like to try it out.
