I can't speak for *your* drive, but at work, I have an Amiga 3000UX with
an attached mini-tower for the disk drives. These include two Seagate 1Gb
drives, and a pair of smaller Quantum drives. These are all SCSI drives
with 3.5" mechanisms. The literature with at least one of the drives
indicated that orientation is unimportant (in fact, in MS-DOS mini-towers,
drives are often mounted sideways). This is good because these 3.5"
drives are mounted on the sides of a 5.25" tower. So far, so good...no
problems yet.
Now if I could just put one of those big drives on my ][gs... 8-)
