forget it, you won't get an un-biased opinion. EVen from those of us who
use both machines. _I_ lean to the mac as the better O/S and machine
(even taking into account W95). Others lean the other way. FOr example,
both systems are plug 'n' play to a one degree or another. THe mac is
more so, because the standard has existed for years, and everybody has
built to it. W95 get around the multi-manufacturer dillemma by including
drivers for nearly everything under the sun. It's the "nearly" that can
get you, though.

it's STILL a lot easier to add a peripheral to a Mac than to a PC.. (see
above - iut applies to both hard and software)

Drag 'n' drop - Windows is just figuring out how to do this - Mac has had
it for years

One of the favorite "proofs" that the PC is the better machine to buy is
that "it has more software". Ok.. I've not done any great research, so in
raw numbers this is quite possible. However, commercialy applications -
if it was written for the one, it's been ported to the other (generally,
there are exceptions, of course). I have yet to LACK any appliction I
need for EITHER machine.

Check with Roger Wagner Publishing and MECC. Roger Wagner has some
hyperstudio stacks for the Apple IIGS that teach sign language - I'd be
surprised if he hasn't moved them to the Mac version. MECC - well,
that's just a guess.
