I'm now using telcom (or tc), a free VT100 emulator that Jawaid wrote.  I
don't remember where I found it, but it does quite well for all of the
functionality that is implemented.  Unfortunately, a fair amount never got
implemented, so (for example) I go back to Kermit for file transfers.
