I'm not quite sure what you mean by this, but if it's to disconnect
the shielding where the monitor cable meets the SS cable from the
GS case (if that made any more sense :), then I've tried that.
It didn't help. Well, I guess I didn't have the cover on the GS
at the time, so I'll try that again too.

Maybe I just need new glasses :) Anyway, the 640x400x256 mode is
more convenient for what I'm doing.
Another question... What TIFF classes does SecondView support?
I have some TIFF class P (palette color) images that work fine
on a mac, but SV barfs quite badly on them.
