SecondSight...

Well, I recieved my SecondSight board on Friday and WOW! This is
_really_ cool! Anyway, a couple of observations/questions..

First, my monitor (GS RGB) did the swimming thing as described
by at least one other person. It seems that my System Saver
was causing some sort of strange interference that caused the
image to wiggle substantially at about 3Hz. It is not related
to cord position, and it goes away when the monitor is plugged
back into the GS's video out. It is related to the distance
between the system saver and the monitor itself. Any ideas?
I've rearranged things to minimize the interference, but I'd
still be interested to know why it was doing it.

Second, I don't seem to be getting interlacing in some 640x400
modes. The emulated SHR screen looks exactly as it did before -
with black lines and all. I was under the impression that the
emulation was performed in interlaced mode. I also don't seem
to get interlacing in 640x400x32k mode in a program I'm writing.
However, there is definitely interlacing in the 640x400x256 mode
used in SecondView. So anyway, am I doing something wrong? Or
is this a limitation of the board?

Anyway, this is one amazing card! Great job Sequential! It will
take a little bit to get used to the PCish character set, though ;)
