The swimmimg you see is caused by the fan motor trying to demagnetize the
picture tube in the monitor.  Any kind of AC magnetic field will do this.
While using the GS's RGB output the Vertical frequency is almost identical
to the 60Hz AC frequency and the swimming is either at a standstill or
moving so slow as not to be noticable.  With the Second Sight, the vertical
frequency may be a bit different and the swimming speeds up. A cure would
be to install a piece of Mu metal sheeting between the monitor and the
system saver.  Mu metal is magnetically shielding and prevents magnetic
interference from passing thru.  Video speakers (the speakers they use for
home theater setups usually have this metal in the
enclosures.  The metal may be obtained from speaker outlets or mail-order.
