I suggest you seriously consider the opposite.  NAUGSAW should join with 
KansasFest.  KFest is held in July.  I know if people had to choose to 
drive to KC for Kfest or Dallas for NAUGSAW, KFest would be the choice.  
By having your meeting at KFest, KFest would be better and you would have 
a bigger audience.  I know at least one member of my user group has been 
to the last two or three Kfests.  I'm going to do my best to attend next 
year.
