A2 expansion card FAQ v00

A while back someone suggested that a FAQ be developed about the
boards that find homes in our Apple // expansion slots.
(Apologies to the originator of the idea, but I lost the message.)

I would like to give a stab at pulling it together.

Before I accept entries into the FAQ, I'd like to set up a format
of what information is needed to accurately describe a card.
I also need to place the cards in categories that will allow for easy
reference.  I plan on cross referencing cards that serve multiple
functions.  For example my AE Ramworks III will be listed under
'RAM cards' with a cross-reference under 'Video cards' for both
the 80 column capability and the RGB grand-daughter board.

Those interested in participating in the design of this FAQ, please
follow-up to this post with ideas, comments, format ideas, whatever else you
think of, and etc.

My first task is to develop the category list.
For example in my main //e I have card of the following SUGGESTED
categories:
RAM Cards  [AE Ramworks III]
Video Cards (cross referenced) [AE Ramworks III]
5.25 Floppy Disk Controllers  [Disk II controller]
3.5 Floppy Disk Controllers  [Uni-disk 3.5 controller]
I/O Serial Cards  [Apple SSC, a SSC compatible
Multi-function Cards  [AST Multi I/O -serial, parallel, and clock]

This is going to be a mammoth task, and I will need lots of help.
Please take the time to help me define the categories for the cards, and the
format that the entries for those categories should look like.
