This is the appropriate group for all miscellaneous Apple II topics
that aren't covered by more specific groups.

Karateka starts up in joystick mode. Press Ctrl-K (I think) to get it
into keyboard mode. (It might be Ctrl-J, or just K.)
Once you're in keyboard mode, the keys are:
Q Kick Up W Punch Up
A Kick Ahead S Punch Ahead
Z Kick Down X Punch Down
SPACE Stand up (for running) or down (for fighting/walking)
B Bow (while standing up)
Left Arrow Step/Walk left or stop running
Right Arrow Step/Walk right or start running
(hold down the arrow key to take longer and/or continuous steps).
