Re: GS+ Magazine Ceases Publication!!!
No no no! Tell me this is a joke, tell me that GS+ is not dead! Alas,
looking back on recent months, I could have realized that this was bound
to happen. The message was right there in the magazine, "We can't
survive without additional readers." Apparently the financial situation
was worse than a lot of readers thought.
Needless to say, I am very saddened by the thought of no longer
receiving GS+ in the mail. Well actually, I think I'm due for one more,
but reading it, knowing that it's the last issue, will be very hard.
Three all-star Apple II publications down this year. A2-Central, GS+,
and II Alive--hmmm, is that last one dead yet, or still on the life
support machinery?
I guess what I'd like to do is thank everyone at GS+ for hanging in as
long as possible, and continuing to put out a quality publication to the
very end. Ever since I started reading GS+ in the Summer of 1993, I
have found somethin exciting in each issue, be it a cool program, some
useful information, or a bit of "not always" good humor <G>. I will
miss you, GS+.
