OK, this is gonna sound a little silly, but have him check the dip switches on
the controller card to make sure it is set up correctly.

If it is, set up the boot up slot to 7 and try again.

I dunno, it could be the controller card. Some of them have been known to be
somewhat flakey. If so, your only other choice is to go with the TurboIDE.

Well, you should be able to hear the disk having problems. At least I did.

Open up the top of the case to get the info about the exact replacement you
need. Unfortunately the controller is not likely to be able to handle anything
else.

Use AppleTalk. However null modem would be faster. ^_^
