What type of printer is it? Some kind of EPSON clone, or an Apple
DMP, or what?
If it an EPSON-based printer, it will be much better supported on the
PC than an Apple printer.
To connect a parallel printer to a PC, buy a PC parallel printer
cable. They are very common, and can probably be bought for under
NZ$10 (about US$6.50) here.
The old cable should be kept with the Apple II parallel card, in case
it is needed again (they should be sold together, as most Apple II
parallel cards use different cables).
