The ProDOS File System extension comes with the Apple //e Emulator card
software. Also, if you have PC Exchange installed on your Mac (either
through MacOS 7.5 or as a separate item), you can also mount ProDOS
disks on the desktop. Note that early versions of the PC Exchange
(before it was included with the MacOS) apparently didn't support ProDOS
disks.

The Apple File Exchange can also be used to read ProDOS disks on a Mac
without the PC Exchange control panel. AFE is included with the system
software. (Note: You can used the AFE with MacOS 7.5, but you must turn
off or otherwise disable the PC Exchange control panel before running
it.)
