Just a side note. Was (IIGS Ram Doubler?)

I have a design sheet for the WDC658C16 that points out the _abort signal 
would be a great way for a system to use virtual memory (paraphrased).  
However Apple, Inc. choose not to use that feature of the chip in the 
GS.  Does anyone know if SNES uses the _abort for VM?
