Well, having seen a a Mac in the seisures of thrashing due to VM,
I know that badly done VM is almost worse than no VM.

As for the SNES, why would it need it? VM needs a HD, and the SNES 
has none. As for the size of the cartridges, the largest I've seen is
32 megabit, which is 4 Mbyte. Since the '816 can do 16, the limit 
won't be reached for a while.
