Help: fading IIGS monitor

Hi all!

I need help with my IIGS monitor.  It takes abt 3 minutes to 'warm up' 
before a clear image is formed.  I have to turn up the contrast and 
brightness all the way to get any image at all (yet, it is fuzzy.)  Now, 
after it has warmed up for abt 3 more minutes, the screen slowly becomes 
fuzzy again and the it gets bright (like a white-out), even if I turn the 
contrast and brightness way down.  Sigh.....

Can anyone help me?
