Resource type $8001 is rIcon.  The ID could mean anything.

Does it happen when running _any_ program, or just a specific program?

It could be something like a damaged Desktop file (it contains rIcon
resources and rBundle resources gathered from applications).

If it is a specific application that isn't working, it is probably a
damaged resource fork - if the program is trying to display a title
screen containing an icon, and the icon isn't in its resource fork,
then that error could have been produced.
