  Yes, it's being worked on, and the firmware update will correct
the problem.

  No, the Second Sight is pretty smart, and does _not_ require that
the slot it is in be set to "Your Card". So you can put it in slot
5 and have your 3.5" too.. or put it in slot 1 and have your printer
port; or put it in slot 3 and have your 80-column display.
