Actually, Gabe, you're talking about the *original* class 1 fax modem
that Vitesse shipped (grey case). It had something like a 75 percent
failure rate, but nobody knew that until it was too late. 

Now, Vitesse is shipping the NuCom Pegasus 144efx class 2 fax modem
(white case), and I am not aware of any problems with it. Those who got
the old one (the grey case) and are having problems with it can call
Vitesse at (818) 813-1274 and arrange an exchange.
