I've used it several times now. It seems to work reasonably well, except 
that you have to deal with a lot of prompts to move around in the system. 
When you first log in, you have to tell it F at the download protocol, 
and you will get FTP. At that point, you can put decide what you want. 
When you go to download it, it will ask for your login and password to 
make a temporary connection. Blows it over, and then erases your login 
info.

You can also of course download directly from the system, I'm assuming 
using Zmodem, but I have no clue what kind of times you're looking at. 
I've been using it to get some stuff for my Linux box, so FTP works fine.
