Regarding Balloon 2.0:

First, let me say that it does have some shortcomings; but it does what I
want it to do. Let me explain.

I have to do a lot of archive uploading on GEnie, and prior to Balloon 2.0
I had to use ShrinkIt to prepare the files for uploading. Then I had to
manually upload each one. Now, with Sprectrum 2.0, Balloon 2.0, and Ken
Lucke's alternate CoPilot scripts (along with a little BASIC program I
wrote), I can do the whole process automatically. The scripts call Balloon
to pack the file, and then send it to the library.

While it is Spectrum, along with Ken's scripts, that does most of the
work, it would not be possible if Balloon 2.0 were not an NDA.

I still use ShrinkIt for some things, but Balloon 2.0 does what I ask of
it, and that satisfies me.
