WAV files are almost identical to raw sound files. There is a small
header, the exact size of which I'm not sure. Once you clip that off (a
"pop" at the beginning of the sound), you can use rSounder or other utility to
convert it into an rSound.
AudioZap can edit the WAV file to eliminate the header. rSounder can
convert it to an rSound for use by the Sound control panel (& others).
Your biggest problem will probably be decompressing the MS-DOS files. If
they're .ZIP files, use PMPUnZip. GS ShrinkIt can handle .ACU, .ARC and
.ZOO files. LHExtractor handles .LHA, .LZA & .LZH files.
