   Both exist. Getting them involves various levels of knowing people,
and/or one-time opportunities that are long past. Apple designed and
built up a bunch of //e and IIGS Ethernet cards, but decided not to
release it at all. Only a few are known to be in the hands of people
outside Apple, and those are in use. The fate of the cards that were
manufactured then shelved is unknown.

   TCP/IP software is in beta; it is part of an update to the GNO/ME
multitasking environment for the IIGS. As the term 'beta' implies, it's
not available yet to the general public. It will support SLIP and such
other forms to connect your GS to the rest of the world. The beta
test team has enough members, thank you.

   In short, don't expect to get your hands on either right now; only
if Derek gets off his butt and finishes the TCP/IP suite will it be
available soon.
