I agree with what you say, and with the comments of others. However he
still is having jagged characters and that concern has not been mentioned.
I wonder if he has both the bit mapped and tt font family with the same name.
If so, he might have pointless set to use the bit mapped font first, and if
so, at a size that does not have a 4x larger file, the letters will probably
be less than desireable.
I suggest that the pointless control panel be checked to see if
the use bm first box is checked, and if so, unselect it, reboot and see if
the printing is improved.
