OK, I'm not sure about this, but I think that you set slot2 to or 1 to
mycard, and Slot 7 to Appletalk. At this point, put your Vulcan
controller in the slot that you have sacrificed. Hook the appletalk cable
up to the port that is with that slot.
Now that I've completely confused you... :)
Set SLOT1 to MYCARD. Set SLOT7 to AppleTalk. Put the Vulcan card in
SLOT1, and connect the AppleTalk cabling to the Printer port. You should
now have access to the Appletalk, and your vulcan should show up in
SLOT1. No guarentees on this, as I've never done it, but I seem to
remember that since you lose the printer port, you gain the slot.

ROM3 is a whole new motherboard. From the little I've seen, it's not
worth it at all, due to incompatibility problems with some of the
programs. So far as I know, Apple has discountinued it, but you might be
able to buy the motherboard from Shreve systems or another decent
remarketter.
