I have a ROM1 IIGS, with a whole bunch of stuff. I never thought about
getting the ROM3 upgrade until last night when I started looking
at using Appletalk to share a folder on a Mac I bought for the kids for
Christmas (and share the printer too). It looks like I have to give up two
slots on my ROM 1 System (Slot 7 and either 1 or 2 for the connector).
But I had my Vulcan controller in 7, and I have an Appledisk3.5 using 5 and an
Appledisk 5.25 in 7, and a direct connect printer on slot 1.
It looks like with ROM3 I only have to give up slot 1 or slot 2. Is there
anyplace where you can get the upgrade done anymore? What's involved?
Is it just a ROM, or is it a motherboard change too?
