do you mean the quadrophonic sound that plans were floating around for
a while back? or do you just mean eight speakers hooked up to a card
instead of two?

this doesn't sound like $50 well spent for just a single pcb worth
perhaps $1.50... the etching fluid does all the labour...

potential designers rule number one : never tell your customers that
you almost blew up the equipment while designing/testing the named product.
