GS/OS 6.0.1 and HCGS troubles!

First of all, I just (yesterday, actually) updated from GS/OS 6.0 to GS/OS
6.0.1.  At the same time, I downloaded HyperCard IIGS 1.1.  No trouble
with the download...I have access to Macincrashes, so I used the HQX archives.

Anyway, two questions--
1.  I'm having a lot of trouble with HCIIGS crashing unexpectedly.  I do
something mundane, like change tools or press the SCRIPT button, and the
next thing I know, I hear a *boink* and the menus don't respond.  If I do
a shift-boot, the problem seems to go away.  Any ideas where I should
look?  I'm using BLANKINIT, which seems very stable.  On the other hand, I
have had problems with the SOUNDS control panel...is this a well-known
problem on a ROM 01 machine?

2.  Under GS/OS 6.0, I only had an APPLEDISK 5.25A icon on the Finder. 
Under 6.0.1, I have both APPLEDISK5.25A and APPLEDISK5.25B.  But I only
have one 5.25" drive hooked up.  Any way to tell that to GS/OS so I can
have that "desk" space back?
