I think this is probably the case. One of the people working with me added a Syquest to increase his disc space on a mac ci and was having all types of problems. He left the machine on and everytime there was a power interuption I think the disc got corrupted. If he shut down he did not eject the disc first and this usually corrupted the discs. I removed the drive from his system and installed a 270 meg HD and he has been fine. I installed the Syquest on my Centris and have been religious about ejecting th
e disc when I am not using it and have not had any problems whatsoever.
