I have to disagree on this one. I believe the quality of the SyQuest
drives depends on which model you have. I know the 44MB SyQuest is very
unreliable --- a few friends have theirs fried. But I own the 105MB
SyQuest and have friends who have 105 or 270MB SyQuests. None of us
have any problems with it at all. I have the SyQuest running almost
daily for > 1 year.
I believe the new 3.5" SyQuests are much more reliable than the old 5.25
ones (44 and 88MB). So I'd say check out the drives if you're
interested.
Henrik: I really don't know how you killed 4 drives in 3 weeks..... but
if they're the 5.25 type, then I suppose it's possible. :)
