Hello. This is from Singapore.

Yes, Apple II is still alive. Many people are still using it for:

- standalone communication/fax/etc machine.
- AppleWorks machine for business.
- Home machine for children.

I am now using Windows 95, but I am still using AppleWorks GS to keep
track of my investment.

A machine called Avatar almost came out. It is a super IIGS clone, but
unfortunately got killed.

IIGS is the last and the best.

YES! New software like Spectrum 2.0 (comm software), Animasia 3D
(excellent 3D rendering softeare), AppleWorks 5, Quick Click Calc (a
new IIGS spreadsheet), etc are out.

New hardware includes SecondSight (the video card for GS, support true
colour!), DiscQuest (let you run CD-ROM software), etc are out.
