I am pretty sure the SCSI controller you are talking about will not work in
slot 3. I am at this very moment using slot 3 with a Super Serial Card,
and I have a I meg ramworks III installed in the Aux slot. I have not had
any trouble other then the fact that ProTERM seems to be the only com
program I have that knows how to use the serial card from slot 3. I don't
hear much about it, so I don't really even know how it is done, but a few
years ago, something in the IIe tech manual mentioned I/O locations for a
super serial card in slot 3 along with an 80 col card.
All I know is that it does work, with ProTerm that is. I was wondering why
you don't just chain your SCSI hard drives together and not worry about
another SCSI card. I am also not real sure about this but you might get
priority conflicts if you have two SCSI cards installed?
