The drives are not interchangeable. The GS vulcan uses a 16 bit card and
the //e vulcan uses an 8 bit card. My advise is that you call Sun
Remarketing for an Apple SCSI card. They just lowered the prices. Then
either build or buy a SCSI drive and case. There are a lot of computer
surplus house out there with parts and complete drives dirt cheap. I just
bought a quantum ELS 80 meg with case for $15.00 and it works just fine.
Don't be in a hurry, shop around.
