It won't help you to find the software. The sad fact is that AOL no
longer allows access from any Apple // computer. I tried just after they
stopped and got a message saying they were no longer accepting calls from
Apple // computers and then the system disconected. If you need access to
that type of system rather than using the internet, I suggest you take a
look at GEnie. They have a very active Apple // section and many more
files than were available on AOL. Also, you can use your own terminal
program instead of needing a special program like AOL.
