I seem to recall some very nice third party half-height drives for the Apple
that were significantly better than the Apple products. And then ther were
the Rana double sided drives that required a special controller. Even on
the single sided drives, if yours had the physical capability, you could
alter both DOS 3.3 and ProDOS to get another track and by flipping the disk
achieve storage nearly equal to the MSDOS capacity of that same era.
