Many (most? all?) PCTs don't access an MS-DOS floppy disk drive
(Transdrive) correctly if a Zip card is running in a GS.  (I don't know if
this is true of a PCT in a Zip-ed IIe, though.)  A workaround is merell to
deactivate the Zip via the Control Panel whenever MS-DOS drive access is
required.
 
One of the Zip tech team told me several years ago that this condition is
a timing issue that didn't seem worth accommodating in all Zips. 
(Rational conclusion, IMO.)

Has anyone out there ever developed a patch or other permanent fix?
